Molt Lines

I was wondering if anybody took the time out to map the molt lines on a
gerbil as they move across the body.  I'm thinking of doing this, but I would
have to come up with a pup that has the most striking color difference to
make it easiest to see.  Any suggestions?  I was thinking maybe a nutmeg, but
I'm not sure which ones are the most color-changing.  I can't get Schimmels,
so that is not a possibility.  Thanks!!
