Almost any agouti colour will show a dark line as the coat changes. I
suggest a Golden Agouti for an easily obtainable option. The darker the
shade the better.

Siamese often show a strong moult line on the lighter areas, as do
lilacs and doves.

Dark self colours, and light agouti colours are more difficult to see
moult lines on. Although even colours as dark as Burmese and Slate will
show moult to a trained eye.
