Tail Tufts

Hi, I've noticed that the size of the tail tuft varies from gerbil to gerbil.
 Has anybody noticed a correlation between color and size of tuft? or maybe
some other pattern or something?  My DEH has barely any tuft and my Argente
Golden has a big tuft.  I don't know what to make of it, except that I like
bigger tufts :)
