Silver is done and she had 5 pups! 4 have black eyes and 1 has red eyes. One of them was a really difficult birth. I don't think I've ever seen a gerbil work that hard (pushing) at giving birth and I've seen *a lot* of births. Gus is being typical Gus--he stole and ate 2 of the placentas, which is actually probably good for him. He needs those nutrients. And he helped clean off the pups. He is such a good dad! Please include these 5 pups in the pup count.
