It doesn't matter. Multiple mothers will often turn into cannibalism and
fighting. It is not the natural way for gerbil to raise the pups an it
causes all sorts of problems.
Simply share the pups out and separate the mothers.

Females will steal one anther's pups, even if they have no milk to nurse
them. It is a potentially disastrous situation and is best avoided even
if it does sometimes work.

I can only suggest that if you want to do the best for your gerbils that
you try and find a couple more tanks for them quickly.
