Hi Julian, thanks for your interesting response. I have often felt from just
my limited observation of my own gerbils that they don't even relate to as a
whole, but in pieces. Closed hands are treat dispensors, Open hands are
scary claws (for some). Arms are vehicles to escape from the tank. Sleeves
and (inside) shirts are jungle gyms. Shoulders are lookout posts, ect...
