I'm not an expert, but from what I have read there are a few gerbils that are loners.  It seems to me that once a gerbil has killed in this manner that it is more likely to happen again.  If it was me I would not take the chance with her again.  She is not a rare or more difficult color to find, so I would give here to a good home.  I know that it would be very difficult to handle this happening once.  It would not be worth a second attempt to me.   This is just my opinion I could be wrong about the chances of her killing again.   Janet
