Can a polar fox have a gray tail?

Icicle was born pink skinned with dark eyes and her fur grew in pure
white (no sign of orange or gray at all, anywhere). See picture at
almost 3 weeks:

Now at almost 5 weeks she all of a sudden has gray fur on her tail. The
rest of her is pure white. I just took some updated pictures which I
will post soon.

She can't be a DTW because her eyes are black (or maybe a very dark
"wine", but definitely not ruby). She could have Sp and/or ch which
may be lightening some other color. I am assuming she does not have cb
or ef (but don't know this for sure), just because the parents are "pet
store" gerbils and I thought those genes where pretty contained to
specialized breeders.

Here are the genetics of the parents:
Mom: pied agouti: A*C*E*G*PpSpsp -- I think she is AA, since the entire
litter of pups are white-belly
Dad: slate: aaC*E*ggPpspsp -- I think he is Cch because of producing a
dove in his last pairing and argente cream in this one.

Any ideas on what color Icicle might (or could not) be?
