Allergies??

I have a group of males that live in a large aquarium.  I've used Corncob,
Carefresh and now Aspen and some of them keep having bloody noses.  There's
never been any sign of a fight..but some always itch their noses.  I've
looked for mites but I don't see anything like that anywhere on them either.
What should I do now?
