I have a question about my little girl Margo. Up until about 5 weeks
ago, she was living with her mum Kessy in a ten gallon tank. Kessy had 4
babies, so I moved her into her own tank, and she seemed perfectly happy. I
plan to move her back with Kessy as soon as Kessy's pups are weaned and off
to their new homes (In about two weeks or so) anyways, I am cleaning tanks
today, and I pick up Margo, and she's got a bald spot around her entire eye.
. .does anyone know why or how she got a bald spot? She's still as friendly
as ever, and she's eating and she's got plenty of water....she doesn't have
a wheel, or any toys because this tank was just a short time arrangement.
Can a gerbil do this to themselves? Any help would be appriciated! thank you
