Ya know, that's a great question! I'v been wondering about this sort of
thing for a while, and not just about the spotted terms. There's DEH, Sooty
Yellow, Sooty Fawn, Golden Fox and ALGERIAN FOX. Five names describing one
color!!!!! And there are quite a few more like this.
All these different names for the same color, uffdahh! A new person just
starting to look on the web for gerbil info. can get mighty confused! I
know, been there, done that.
I would like to see an across the board, across the border consensus of one
name per color, thank you! What do you think folks? I really would like to
hear (read) what you have to say about this.
