I know that Agoutis are a dark gray pigment in furless, fuzzless new
pups. And when they are grown up and you pet the skin backwards the
underneath fur looks black.
I have a nutmeg (but not as a newborn pup); if you pet her fur backwards
it is a golden underneath coat so I'd guess as a new pup her pigment
would be a pink or dark pink.

Members be careful when you part the fur back, just do it once or twice.
If you do it many times, you might cause a gerbil seizure. If I recall
correctly Julian told me.
