I agree with Julian.
Any sort of bedding that doesn't dissolve in water (like shredded
undyed toilet tissue or carefresh) is generally bad news to use.
This includes hair, wool, cotton fibers, anything synthetic; threads,
cloth, etc.
If you feel so inclined to do something with the shed dog hair;
collect a huge batch of it, look for someone that does weaving,
and have them mix it with wool and spin it. I've been told it
makes great sweater yarn that way, although the insulation
value is very high and it will make you very hot....
