I disagree. I knew some of the material was mine and I think I had the
right to let everyone know that. I suspected, but di not know, that some
of the material belonged to other people, I wanted to draw other's
attention to what was going on here.

I agree. I did not suggest any of those.

What doubt? Material was used without authority. That is a criminal
offence.

You have no knowledge of the private exchanges I have had with this
person to encourage them to rewrite the material in their own words,
correct the HTML of the webring section etc. I wanted to make sure the
issue was public for the reasons I gave. I also wanted to express my
shock. When you have laboured for four and a half years to produce a
site, you should not have to worry about material being used this way,
especially when each page contains a copyright notice.
