Birth announcement!

Slategirl had 8 (!!!) babies yesterday (Thursday, July 13) evening.  Arrow
is the father.  They are Gus gerbils.  5 have black eyes and 3 have diluted
dark eyes.  All seem healthy.  This is a huge litter for Slategirl.  I think
her largest before this was 5.

Please include them in the pup count.
