Im so sorry about your Mom, You can spray all enclosures and animals
with mite and lice spray for rodents or birds. Also take all animals to
vet and ask him if they can be given an injection of Ivermecin. This
will kill all mites, lice, fleas, etc.... However, it can not be used on
turtles.
There is also another type of medication that can be injected but I
don't remember the name of it. It was mentioned on the list last year.
