Breeding newbie and totally addicted new gerbil friend here. I have some
breeding pairs already (and have already had a few litters/matched up pairs,
etc....) but I am getting a few more colors in that I really find attractive
and I would like to know the best matches for these from the colors I have
now or am getting. OR if none of the colors I have now seem to be a good
choice, then I would love suggestions! I am fond of the pied and lighter
colors or CP with light bodies.
Goals: To breed for variety of colors other than DEH,Agouti or black (what
I mean is, I do not want these as primary choices, or in the higher outcome
precentages, I know some are possible anyway)
Here are the ones I want to pair up and would like some suggestions on
colorful matches consisting with the above statements :) -->
1. Polar fox 2. Schimmel 3.DTW 4. Siamese 5.Silver Schimmel 6.
Spotted agouti
These are the colors i have:
1. DEH 2. black 3. dove 4. pied lilac/dove 5. red fox
Thanx for all of your help! Oh and if possible, I want for the matches to
reproduce the parents colors, esp. polar fox and schimmel and silver
schimmel. I can not figure out what colors for those last three will give
me more of the same plus other colors?
