I have cleaned the pens thoroughly with bleach. Somebody mentioned Simply
Green. Does that work better? I also am in contact with my vet. She is going
to find out what to put on them. The rest seem to be doing fine. They do have
the mites thou. The mites have to really surface or multiply when their
dying. I still don't know what caused that pair to die. Because I wasn't here
and strangers were feeding them could that of caused enough stress? They were
my oldest pair around 2 yrs. Mine are not reg. I didn't know there was a
registry for gerbils until I read your letters. I have 6 others 4 Black and 2
Dove (I guess from what I've learned). I've got to get this under control
because I am expecting pups soon. I have a pet store that buys all the pups I
want to sell for $1.75 each. Thanks so much for all your help. I will stay in
touchnow and get more involved.
