Hi Evon,
I am so sorry to hear this. I feel very fortunate to have acquired a
beautiful colorpoint slate boy pup from you before your making this
(what must be very difficult) decision. This boy is both gorgeous and
super friendly & tolerant. My three 1/2 year old has taken him on as
her own. She sits in front of the television with blanket in one hand,
her thumb in her mouth and clutching Rocket to her chest. Normally I
don't even let the kids hold the gerbils still, but he relaxes, without
struggling or squeaking and gets sleepy look about him.
I will let you know if your genetics line continues through him. I have
plans to mate him with Promise (DEW of some sort I think light color
point agouti) when they both grow up.
