I've found the easiest male-female introductions to be young 3-4 months
sexually mature pairs, esp. when the female is in her "heat" (every 4-6
days I believe). I have done four split cage introductions (actually I
use a little habitrail within the tank method) like this so far. Each
has gone smoothly with no hint of fighting. And there seems to be
increased efforts to get to the other side when the time is right.
So if you really want to breed this specific pair you could wait until
they grow up a little -- Donna
