What causes a delay in a repeat litter?
The reason I ask is that Blossom and Alan's now grown pup pair had a pup
of their own (just 1) on July 2nd. The pair mated again shortly after
the birth. However, their pup died at a few days. Will this mean a
normal 25 day gestation? the longer 35 or so gestation? or something in
between? If someone has had a similar experience, would you let me know
the pregnancy length of the second litter. The three girls who own this
pair are very anxiously awaiting having more pups.
Also, they plan to take the whole tankful with them on vacation (pups
will be 1-2 weeks, I'd guess). Is it wise to have parents with pups
this young travel (about a two hour drive)?
