I have been trying to resist posting this myself for some time.
My concern is that whatever we do there will always be a mix of posts on
any list. Questions on a social list will have to answered by someone,
and unless the busy veterans also read that list the questions will be
answered by other people. I already see this when I dip in to some of
the other gerbil lists that exist.
Personally, I agree with what Kathryn Behm says. I think it is good that
we have such a varied list. What would help would be for more people to
make use of the resources on the web, and for questions to be better
signposted as I suggested on Friday.
