pictures.
That type of gerbil is not common.
it's actually not! (can you believe it? those things are so
prevalent, you can't walk through a pet supply store without tripping
over them!) it's barron's. i don't take anything in a book i buy at a
pet store at face value, hence the research. they actually seem to be be
pretty good, as these things go, even including a section on homemade
diets, and insisting that gerbils need *room to roam*!!!

the first two or three list posts i got didn't use them, but i figured,
as a newby, i better stick to the rules! anyhow, i like the idea of
codes or topic headings..... that way i can skip things i don't need to
know about....
