Hi Doug, thanks for the warning...perhaps selling the whole setup,
selling gerbils for more than feeder rats, and asking lots of questions
and engaging people in lengthy discussion on care and handling might be
a few ways to guard against our little sweeties coming to such a bad end
(don't know if others have ideas as well).

I've heard that gerbils make poor live snake food because the fight,
kick, and claw so much that the animal can get injured.  Is this true?
