Be aware that often seeds will have only the hearts eaten out of
them.  Your gerbils may be eating more of the food than you think, what you
may be seeing is the discarded "leftovers!"  I wouldn't worry about
vitamins but if you absolutely want to, I'd get the powder you mix in the
food.  I've had bad experiences with vitamins causing mold in the water
bottles.
