Lisa, I've raised healthy and surviving litters on aspen bedding, a mixture of
gerbil seed mix, cat food, oats, and tortillas. I stuff new moms so that the
milk is extra-nutritious for the babies, even if iI am being paranoid it does
seem to make the babies extra hardy :) If you have any new moms, try not
handling the babies until they have a good layer of fur. And keep everyone on
Tetracycline for a few days, PLEASE. I might still have all my old gerbils if
I had treated them earlier.
