Hi Lisa,
Thanks for asking about Kasandra. Presently she is doing fine. She has beat
the two weeks that the doctors gave her live. They honestly didn't think her
tiny body could handle it for this long.
About two weeks ago she asked to go shopping. Her mom and dad took her to
the mall and also to McDonalds, Kasandra's favorite place to eat. She really
enjoyed her shopping trip.
At one point, she looked up to her daddy (my brother) and told him that an
angel has been talking to her in her dreams, this angel keeps telling her
that all her dreams will come true.
My brother didn't know what to say, so he asked her if it was a boy or girl
angel. Kasandra said that it is a girl angel.
Kasandra doesn't know that the doctors only gave her two weeks to live, that
was almost 4 weeks ago now. They decided not to tell her that she may soon
die, they didn't want to scare her and have her give up.
I got goose bumps when my mom told me about the angel last week, it's so
amazing that she would say that, she is only 5 years old and for the most
part, doesn't talk much cause she is so week.
Please keep praying for her, she is our little angel. :o)
