B: Odd Behavior

Dear GML,   I have just taken the young males out of the breeding tank and put them into the "male" tank with the other adult males. There has been no fighting, and they are just starting to get acquainted...but I have noticed that there is one adult male trying to mate with a young male. I double checked and they are *all* males in that tank, so I dont know what's happening...unless, there is such thing as a homosexual gerbil :)   Looking forward to some responses -   Jason :)
