A ten gallon tank is large enough for two adult gerbils, so you should be
fine. Yesterday you said that the two male gerbils were quite young. A
number of experts have said that so long as they are both under eight weeks
there should be no trouble. I introduced two litters, a litter of four pups
6 weeks old, and a litter of six pups 5 weeks old. They all lived together
very happily until they were placed. (They were not in a ten gallon tank,
but a very large nursery tank.)
