C: Hunch Back

Dear GML,   Just an observation...my 2 original gerbils (Titan and Celleste), the original mating pair...and the oldest of the colony, both have hunchbacks. I know all gerbils have a bit of a hunch but these 2 have enormous hunches, almost deformities...although, I know there's nothing wrong with them. Im just wondering, do gerbils develop hunchbacks as they get older?   Jason
