Hey List. :)
When my bio teacher said she was planning on getting a pair of mice to
breed to show the class the "wonders of life," I opened my mouth and said
that I'd bring in a pair of my gerbils for the class to see. (Mostly cause
I know that mice breed super fast and they'd just end up in the pet store as
feeders and that bothers me...) Well, I was planning on bringing in Alyssa
and Ashwin, as those two are very big people gerbils, and Alyssa breeds
pretty regularly. I knew she was due soon, and I figured it'd be easier for
her to adapt than my other pairs. However, she had her babies this weekend.
6 lil pink squirmies, in addition to her older triplets. What do you guys
think I should do? Should I still take them into my bio class? I know
they'd be safe, Mrs. Wiltgen wouldn't let anyone go mess with them, and I'd
be able to check up on them every day. Like I said, Alyssa's very laid back
(heh) so I don't think she'd be over stressed...well, opinions, please?
I'm planning on taking them in tomorrow, so if you could reply ASAP, I'd
really appriciate it. :)
Thanks!
Tasha
