>>When I read a post and want to reply, is it then necessary to change the
recipient of the post? If I hit 'Reply' it looks like it only goes back to
the person that asked the question, not to the list. Is this the case or
can it be changed?

I have Lotus Notes. I have the options of Reply, Reply with History, Reply
to All, and Reply to All with History. Check to see if your program has
similar options. Reply goes only to the sender. Reply to All puts the
sender's address in the To: field and the GML address in the CC: field. I
usually delete the sender's address and put the GML address in the To:
field, so the sender does not receive two copies of the message (cut and
paste). With History repeats the original message at the bottom. I rarely
use those options. I prefer to cut and paste the part of the original
message that pertains to my reply and not send back loads of message
everyone has already read the first time.
