OT-Rabbit question

Hi,

my husband just came home with a Rabbit we are supposed to take
care of for a few days.
He is in a big dog carrier (the rabbit <g>) with no bedding
whatsoever. Is this okay?

I have no experience with rabbits at all and was wondering if
someone could give me a few hints privately.
