Hi Sarah,

I'm sorry to hear about the gerbils. I had an awful illness and I lost over 30
gerbils. I could have prevented many deaths if I knew how. So now I'm telling
you what I know now: Put everyone on antibiodics ASAP. Don't give out any
gerbils and don't recieve any new ones. You may even wants to clean all cages,
toys, etc. so there are no germs crawling around just making the problem worse.

About your other pets, my vet told me that almost any other small rodent can
catch Tyzzer's with the exeption of rabbits. So you should keep them seperate
from the gerbils and ALWAYS wash your hands before handling any of them.
