Switch to feeding KMR, Kitten Milk Replacer, and baby food with
the syringe. I use Gerber 'Vegetable Medly' a lot. The blueberry
dessert usually goes over well too.

Be calm, and offer it to her when she is calm. You might switch
to a glass eyedropper. I find that an animal can lap at it much
easier than the needle-less syringe.

What you describe sounds like a tumor or growth in the
brain. If the symptoms had come on suddenly, you
perfectly described serious head trauma. As caused
by a fall, causing a stroke and/or hemorraging in the
brain and swelling of the tissues.

Since you say it came on more slowly (over weeks) and
worsened over time, it sounds like a tumor or growth.

A vet probably wouldn't be able to help, other than to
put the animal down.

If she gets worse keep an eye on her cagemate. If
her cagemate starts bothering her, then she will have
to be removed and live alone her last days.

My sympathy. Stuff like this is always difficult.

Keep her comfortable, and do what you can in her last
days (or weeks or months) to make her comfortable.
Prognosis is poor, from what you've said, and you will
probably have her expire in her nest or have to have
her put down in the near future. :'( I'm sorry there isn't
much more to be done. [anyone else on the forum
have any suggestions?]
