It depends on what kind of pine.  Some animals are sensitive to
pine shaving bedding.  Pine other than white pine can be problemmatic
no matter whether it is shavings or a solid toy.

Made into chew toys or decorations for the cage (not painted or
sealed, or pressure treated wood) it is perfectly fine.  Just make
sure there are no splinters before giving it to them.
