I doubt it, but you may want to cover half of the cage with a towel so they get
some relief from the lights.
Aww! When my friend started breeding gerbils, one of the little white girls in
the cage would love to come up to me and fell asleep in my hand a few times.
When I have pups younger than 3wks, they all love to bumble around in my hand
and then take a nap ;)
