I'm sure you all are elbow deep in preparing for your own
Thanksgiving, but what should the gerbils get? What are you going
to do for them on the Turkey Thursday?
I was just watching my gerbils scarf down their regular mix and
thought they should have a nice Thanksgiving too. So tommorow I
plan to get a large dish and fill it with everything I can find
in my 'fridge that they can eat. Maybe I'll get creative and
attach leaves and cut-out turkeys to the outside of the cages ;)

***Just a note for any newbies on the list.. Dairy products,
meat, and exessively sugary or salty foods can be bad for
gerbils. Try to stick with vegetables, seeds and grains in a good
variety.
