Gerbils can and will eat small pieces of cooked meat. Only give a very
small piece and watch to make sure the gerbil eats all of it. Any they
do not eat should be immediately removed.
As for stuffing, this is just grains, fat and seasoning. A small amount
should be OK. It is probably best to serve this after it has cooled down
and congealed.
