Hi Robert --
You can join the American gerbil society
http://www.geocities.com/amergerbsoc/index.html, create a clan name, and
register your gerbils. When I asked Pamela C. (registrar) nicely she sent
my complete clan information. They provide a pedigree that you can print in
hard copy.
I would LOVE to be able to keep detailed breeding records and pedigrees
electronically.
1) It would be very cool to have an electronic pedigree (with a couple of
lines per entry for genetics, birth date, name, gender).
2) It would be very cool to have an electronic litter records form through
which all the information on each litter could be stored in a database.
Such as mating date, birthing date and time, pigment, fur colors, genders,
when eyes opened, when weaned, any stillbirth/deaths and causes, etc.
Maybe a future NGS, AGS, or energetic individual's project ??

PS -- congratulations on the new pups!
