Hi !
Are you 100% sure that she (or both) is pregnant ?
Our 3 months old male Nutty when compared with 2 weeks older
female Tisha (or her mother Maggie) looks like pregnant female !
Some gerbils eat a bit more (and are bigger because of that)
- some doesn't !
And if they are 8-9 weeks old mating should had happened when
they were 5 weeks old that you can (now) actually "see" that she's
pregnant - and at 5 weeks - they are too joung ...
But if they are older than you think , or of one of them is not eating
more than others, you still might be the lucky winner :-) !
Anyway - separate them while they are still young, give male away
or get him company (male) !
