My gerbs have been acting a little strangely lately, I was wondering if
anyone had any ideas.
Lately Red Far I, has been getting more and more inactive. She spends ages
just sitting in the middle of the cage staring into nothing. If I put a
toilet roll in there she will still go for it as normal. Overall she looks
healthy (if a bit chunky).
Black Far I seems to be getting more and more active and she tends to bounce
around the tank.
Black Far I is by far the more tame and so is easier to let her exercise out
of the cage. Red Far I hardly ever comes out cos its so difficult to get her
out.
The two of them seem to be sqabbling a lot more. I gave them some sunflower
seeds and they kept on pinching them from each other. They have also been
chasing each other round the cage more. Nothing has erupted seriously, and
no blood drawn. They are also grooming each other a lot more and kissing
each other, which is quite cute. I am keeping a close eye, but really don't
want to have to split them apart unless I have to.
