Help !!! Gerbils fighting !

Hi all !

They are 1,2 years old mother ans 4 months old daughter.
Everything was perfectly fine until today when they started
to chase each other and finaly started fighting ("ball")...
I separated them immediately (and got bitten - now I understand
why one has to wear gloves when introducing gerbils) !
So what to do now , put them together again (when and how)
or let them live separately (alone) ???
