Hi Cindy,
I found that most of my gerbils don't do well with paper products for their
bedding. The dust and fibers seem to irritate their noses, thus causing
sneezing, and constantly rubbing at their muzzles makeing their noses
chapped, raw and bare.
I'v switched to corn cob bedding and have had no infections or naked noses!
