I have some questions about introducing gerbils. The
first one is if one gerbil is 10 weeks old and one is
5 weeks old, do you need to do split-cage? I know
that usually if they are both between 5 and 8 weeks
you don't, but 10 weeks is two weeks older than that.

The other question is how old is a gerbil before it is
considered an "adult"?

and the third question is, has anyone ever had any
luck with more than two females in a cage? I haven't
tried to put more than two in on cage that weren't
juveniles (had four sisters togetehr for a week but
they were only 5 weeks old) because I've heard so much
about females being more likely to fight than males.

Hope these questions aren't "dumb". just wanting to
know what options I have as the babies get older.

Thanks much
RW
