Hi, I just came home from the veterinarian, where Helen was supposed to get her teeth shortenened (we have 3 gerbils with genetic tooth problems). She died from heart failure, as soon as the vet picked her up :( She was fine before and has had this procedure done several times before. I've heard of this happening, though :( She was just over 2 years old, and Hendri (same age) is now alone. I'm very sad and will have to tell my daughter, when I pick her up at school in an hour.
