I know not everyone believes in shipping but I thought I would share this info... I emailed a Dr. Blaine Thompson who is a customs representative in the pet importation department. this was his email response about sending/bringing gerbs into canada: Hi Lisa, Several years back our agency deregulated all rodents from our import animal regulations. You no longer require any health certification for entry into Canada. In addition, you are not required to present your gerbils to our inspection staff at the port of entry for an inspection. This is now considered a "Customs clearance" and the only time that we could become involved is if the Customs staff observe that the aniamls are sick, dying etc. In this case you would be referred to us for a check. In addition, there are no quarantine or import permit requirements. There would be no fees payable to us unless Customs referred the shipment to us as noted aove. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com
