Hi all ! Well, speaking of fat gerbils we'd like to add that our Nutty is really, really fat ... He is 5 and half months old and gained weight when he was about 3 months - the thing is that we don't give him he any food that consist of fat (maybe one - two times weekly just a few seeds) . He lives with his parents (eats from the same food bowl) and they are both "medium weight"... He acts perfectly normal and is pretty fast . Is he ill or it's just that some gerbils like to eat more than the others ? Enjoy ! Nives & Dejan
