Several weeks ago I had asked for advice on my sick pups. They had
respiratory infections. Well, 5 survived and 1 passed on...the one that I had
temporarily revived. At any rate, I have a special fondness for one of the
survivors, a pied gerbil who is an off black color (what color is this?), My
Little Sweetie. Sweetie came very close to death also, but he made it. He
couldn't even walk straight and his temperature was sooo cold. But he made it
and has been well and eating for about 2 weeks now. He is small, but I figure
he will catch up, as he was the sickest. The problem is that he seems to have
little fur. When I pet him, I see a lot of pink skin. One of his siblings,
who looks just like him, only bigger (wasn't as sick) also shows a lot of
skin. My Little Sweetie is my absolute favorite...he is adorable. I never had
a favorite, cause I always like all of them so much...but he is soo sweet. Is
there anything wrong with my Sweetie?
