I am glad to hear, that other gerbils are "talking" too. Our Ruediger
(already 4 1/2 years old!) talks a lot now. I just noticed it for the first
time a couple of weeks ago, I never heared it before.

I was not really worried because he looks healthy and in good mood and is
eating normally, but I was just wondering about the chirping sound.

My son suggested, that according to his age he might be slightly deaf, and
so he just speaks more loudly? ;-)
